Another Term is over....

A big congratulations goes out to all my students from the past term. It was a wonderfully fun and exciting 9 weeks. It is so great to see everyone exploring and developing their own way of using karate through our drills and games.

On this note, it is my pleasure to announce that we have added a new class time for the next season! This means that anyone who was on the waiting list last term now has a chance to join in. Tell your friends! The new class will run immediately after the first session, and is for those students who are a bit older or who have been with me for a few terms already.

While the material will remain the same for the second class, due to the fact that our programs cover quite a bit of information and technique we rarely have a chance to cover the entire cirriculum in 9 weeks. The more advanced classes will be moving a bit quicker through the drills to cover more of the cirriculum, so it will help if students have attended the Playground Self-Defence Classes I, II, and III before.

The beginners class is focused on correct attitude and skill development of the system and techniques. We usually aim to cover about half of the material for that section in 9 weeks. All students work at their own levels, and now anyone showing the proper concentration and focus in the class can be moved to the second more challenging class if they desire, pending the instructors' approval.

There are lots of new developments in the program, and I am working through the holidays to try to have some of the changes ready for next term. Thank you for such an enjoyable 9 weeks, and I am looking forward to the new year.

As always, if you know of someone who may benefit from our programs, please forward them this link (http://www.karateschool.ca/), or refer them to the web site. The more people involved the better for us all.
