New Hours, New Classes

The Leslieville Ju-Jitsu Club has expanded its training days!!

That's right, along with more days and hours we also have more ways for our community to participate in our Jiu-Jitsu programs. If you don't know what Jiu-Jitsu is -come on out to experience it for yourself.

This style of martial art centers its focus on grappling and wrestling, and is an exciting recreational sport. Competitors begin matches standing attempting to grab and take one another to the mats, where the focus becomes to make your opponent give up by signalling with a ‘tap’. This ‘tap’ signal is patting the mats, your opponent, or yourself repeatedly until the match is stopped.

How do I join in?
Just contact us to let us know when you would like to drop by. Classes are Tuesday & Thursday evenings, and Sunday afternoons. If this is your first try with martial arts- all you will need is a set of gym clothes (t-shirt & track-pants or shorts). If you are visiting from another club or have trained in the past, bring your gi. See our price for drop in and membership rates, or contact us to join our next clinic.
