Defensive Tactics for Violent Attacks - NEW CLINIC

Defensive Tactics for Violent Attacks
DT is the term I use when referring to Defensive Tactics for the everyday person. It is hands on conflict resolution at the community level. It encompasses the types of pressures and possibilities you may encounter -should find yourself in a violent confrontation and acceptable level of response for self-defence.

DT 4 VA 101, is our newest 6-week course designed to introduce fundamental skills for all experience levels. We will experience some basic concepts of self-defence, through safe and fun skill development drills. This course is the first level introduction to our 5 part Defensive Tactics course.

Time: 6pm in the south end of Orchard Park, Dundas just East of Coxwell.

Cost: $50 for the full 6 weeks. If a class is cancelled due to weather, the sessions will be extended to cover the class.

Course Dates: Our classes are every Monday.
This clinic is set to begin July 13th 2009 to August 17th 2009.

Participants: Teens and Adults.
Due to the nature of confrontational situations, younger players wishing for some self-defence skills are asked to participate in our : Playground Self-defence Karate programs. Available at Withrow Park Clubhouse, Sept - June. Register through the fun guide, from Parks and Rec.

*** Please note that this is a sign-up clinic. You need to RSVP and plan on attending all 6 dates for training. Please do so via email, or post on the wall of our event page for this group on Facebook. If you are interested in our casual open training, drop by on Tuesdays or Thursdays***
